Everything looks so neat and tidy with the exuberance of all those blooms as contrast. Mine garden beds are so messy right now I only show close-ups of mine:) But all the rain this spring has made it difficult to keep up as everything is growing by leaps and bounds. I've enjoyed getting free seeds from Renee's, too, but watch out for the nicotania--mine all re-seeded last year, and I was pulling excess plants all summer long!Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01384059342847120951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4547783720122066148.post-89166235177503272362013-05-17T20:12:32.805-05:002013-05-17T20:12:32.805-05:00Yes Cindy, we've had a very wet spring. And you just can't see the plants that are seeding out in the gravel paths. I'm always pulling Verbena bonariensis out of there, and the 'Coral Nymph' salvia is just starting to grow there, too. I was out of town for a while, and by the time I got back, it had just gotten ridiculously leggy and started to form buds, so I figured I would let it go to seed. Maybe I'll get some hardier starts from this batch of seeds. It's the saddest looking thing you've ever seen though-definitely not recognizable as "lettuce" to anyone just passing by.
