Love the tennis court garden and the glen-like area of Tree Lilacs with the tall blue green grass... and all the lovely rustic arches and supports... the rock chairs with remote are very clever. Beautiful photos. Well Done! How funny! Like you, I'd love to go back to Chanticleer in spring to see the bulbs, or in fall to see the grasses and fall foliage. But high summer was a great time to see it last year, and I'd happily go back in July again.Pam/Digginghttp://www.penick.net/diggingnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4547783720122066148.post-47172072999961233572009-06-22T16:42:36.977-05:002009-06-22T16:42:36.977-05:00Hi Jean, thanks for showing us this fabulous garde...Hi Jean, thanks for showing us this fabulous garden. Everything about it seems to deserve a post, or book! or its own. You did an outstanding job of touching the high points. I loved the paving, and everything really. I would love a house like the potting shed! :-)<br />FrancesFranceshttp://fairegarden.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4547783720122066148.post-35430962728031996122009-06-22T14:00:48.327-05:002009-06-22T14:00:48.327-05:00These garden is a little glimps of what heaven mus...These garden is a little glimps of what heaven must be..... I love the gravel garden...(maybe I am preparing myself for the climatic changes that appear to be happening here in Nashville. It's June and in the high 90's!) But they are delightful to me. Let me assure you, that you can easily, (really, if I can, you can) make those arches...Mine are made from fresh honeysuckle bush stems and branches and wire to hold them together. Just wire the bottom to rebar stuck securely into the ground and you have a nice arch. gailGailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16194325535496408116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4547783720122066148.post-71128058878130387492009-06-22T08:23:34.350-05:002009-06-22T08:23:34.350-05:00thanks for the tour I really enjoyed it.thanks for the tour I really enjoyed it.islandgal246https://www.blogger.com/profile/09139072456332225087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4547783720122066148.post-72599413541082267002009-06-21T20:51:45.219-05:002009-06-21T20:51:45.219-05:00Beautiful, Jean! I like the gravel garden, too, but I'm also partial to the pond garden. I much prefer them to the "edgier" details shown in your previous post, but touches like the stone couches certainly add some humor here. A great way to spend the afternoon--hope you made it to New York in time for dinner!Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01384059342847120951noreply@blogger.com
